Even More Vintage Holiday Crafts!

To continue with my collection of ridiculous childhood Christmas crafts, here’s a photo of some angels that my sisters and I made in Brownies. They’re made of a cardboard cone, a styrofoam ball, fabric scraps or tissue paper, a sparkly pipecleaner, shredded plastic basket-filler, half a paper doily, and sequins. Yes, many of them have only one sequin eye (or no eyes) and have a floppy head. That’s what makes them hilarious.

Thank you, Brownie leaders, for having us make these angels. We’ll keep them forever.

About clln

I'm a big-time crafter, small-time blogger. I recently moved from Toronto, ON, to Westerly, RI, and the change is pretty big. Luckily, I have a supportive husband who doesn't mind finding little pieces of yarn all over the house.
